Mar 3: A vida e boa!!

Oi familia! Tudo bem.

Hope y'all (1) are doing well!   I am taking dad's challenge!
(Explanation:  Jon told her he counted 17 “y’alls” at our church meeting Sunday and asked if she could beat that.)

The work is so good!

On Saturday N was baptized! And on Sunday she was confirmed! It was a bit of a rough and crazy week, but in the end everything worked out and it couldn't be happier!

I got 3 wonderful letters in the mail recently! From Mom, Dad, and Danica all on the same day!!!  One from each of y’all. (2)   Thanks so much! I loved them and they made me so happy!

I am just so happy!!!  Danica, you are you going to love Texas!  Congrats on your call to the Dallas Texas Mission!   Mom and Dad, I'm so glad y’all (3) got to be a part of the B Family’s baptism! And how special that Brother B asked dad to confirm him!!  Knowing my whole family is so involved in missionary work makes me happier than I can say!!!

The picture of me with the J Family kids is for Danica! Look at her little brown shirt!  I thought of you!

The last picture is of the dinner the H family made for us. The wife is a recent convert.  They have this tradition where every time they have the missionaries over for dinner, they ask the missionaries to choose a country. Brother H loves to cook and has cooked foods from tons of different countries! ...Sister T told me to choose...so I thought about BYUH and chose Fiji! ...wow, he did a great job! He made palusami!  At BYUH, my group and I made that for our food project in my oceanic cultures class!!

Miracles are happening every day. Brother M recently texted us and basically asked us for our honest opinions of whether it is wise for him to proceed and ask to be welcomed into the Mormon way of life even though he knows he doesn't know everything about the doctrine.  Wow!!!! What a surprise! He is progressing and although he may or may not see it, we have seen him changing little by little, finding increased happiness and seeds of faith.

While contemplating the decision, he also told us that he was in the process of writing his Will because he is unsure what his future holds.  I can't express how much Sister T and I have come to love this man. We think of him, talk about him, and pray for him. I know that he needs this gospel.  It is so hard to see him struggling to find faith. We had thought he was giving up on faith, but a few days after that was when he asked for our opinion about him joining the church.  What an incredible man.

There are so many incredible people here!  I know that each of them needs this gospel and the blessings Heavenly Father has to offer them. The gospel is so good!  It is too good not to be true.

Love y’all! (4)

PS…Only 4 y’alls this time, I will keep trying for 17!
